That is working now. When I did the make files aren't they suppose to put the Asterisk files automatically into /etc and usr/sbin. None is created and wondering what is wrong with the system now and of course can't restart Asterisk. Any suggestions here?

What you got is a short redirection page that uses javascript. Sadly
wget is not that capable yet.
